"It was so exciting to see Chris's effort on tennis. I cannot remember how many times I shouted today! This summer I took Chris to join the regular summer camp to be with typical peers for two weeks, and the 'sports' classes were most hard for him to participate. I just cannot believe how he kept his attention to the tennis ball for such a long time today....thank you for making this program!  I am REALLY surprised how you could keep him focused during the session and I am glad that he did better than I expected... I know he won't be able to play a regular game like his typical peers, but my dream is..... Chris could hit a tennis ball over the net with his big brother. Well...after today's session, I feel that my dream might come true..."  -  Shiei Kuida

"I can't believe the way we ended the session, James didn't want to leave, he said he wants to come back every Saturday (non prompted comment!) and then said he wants his birthday party there, which is reserved for only the best places ever... Thank you -- I think this is just what he needs to gain some self-confidence, I can't stop seeing that smile on his face when he hit the ball.  Please thank Rob and Sam for me, they worked really hard to engage him and it worked beautifully!"    -  Kristin Macchi

"I want to thank you for running such a great tennis program with Aceing Autism.  My 7-1/2 year old son absolutely loves participating.  He is so proud and brags to his teachers about how he plays tennis.  I must admit I was nervous about sending him out on the court, but the volunteers have been so understanding and enthusiastic.  If anything, this experience has allowed my son to be more independent and confident.  Autism poses a lot of challenges for participating in other sports programs, and I thank you for the opportunity to let my son go out, run around, chase down some balls, and even hit a few over the net!!"  -  Becky Zorovic

"Our eight year old son absolutely LOVES his tennis lessons! I wasn’t sure how it would go because that type of coordination and attention is difficult for him, but he really showed us! He can’t wait to go every week- he’s so happy and confident playing! ACEing autism has been great!!"  -  Jennifer and Steve Maggiacomo

"My son, Nicholas, began participating in the ACEing Autism program last fall.  He always looks forward to attending and getting the chance to both play tennis and see friends. His participation/level of attentiveness varies from week to week - but one thing that never waivers is the sense of belonging that he feels.    The instructors always make Nicholas feel comfortable - and the level of patience and commitment that they consistently demonstrate is truly amazing.  Thank you for providing our son with the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful program.  We look forward to participating for years to come."  -  Jeanne Johnstone

"This program has been outstanding for my son. It really caters to the needs of the individual child.  The skill levels are all over the map, and therefore so is the coaching. Each child leaves the session feeling they accomplished something. My son loved the “games” at the end of the session, where they whole group played some simple games together. It’s wonderful to find a program that understands our special kids, and works to make each feel proud. "  -  Lisa Harvey
