About Us
ACEing Autism was created in September 2008. With the invaluable efforts of its volunteers and supporters, ACEing Autism services over 100 children with autism spectrum disorders in the greater Boston area and expanded to the Los Angeles area in May 2010.

In early 2010, after working for four years at Children’s Hospital Boston, Shafali was recruited to the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment. Our move facilitated the growth of ACEing Autism, as we identified the need for this program in Los Angeles as well. We began building the program in Los Angeles by partnering with the UCLA Adaptive Recreation Programs. ACEing Autism LA was officially launched on May 8, 2010. In the fall of 2011, we also partnered with The Help Group and now offer an after-school program at their Sherman Oaks campus.
